With over 30 years experience in the financial services sector, Ian added immeasurably to the strength of the team at Moore Stephens Financial Services in Bath when he joined the firm in 2005.
As an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute (a nationally recognised professional qualification uniquely appropriate to careers in pensions and employee benefits) he is extremely well qualified to offer advice to individuals and companies on all aspects of pensions, both corporate and personal. Most importantly, however, the breadth of his experience means he is able to do so in the context of holistic financial planning (for individual clients) and of corporate priorities (for companies).
Ian would be the first to acknowledge that, despite the efforts of Government and insurance companies to offer consumers simpler products and more information about such aspects as risk and cost, coming to terms with how many financial products work remains difficult for those outside the profession. This is particularly so for those whose portfolios contain assorted plans and policies dating back many years.
Whether developing more complex financial strategies or dealing with simple plans, Ian enjoys the challenge of providing beneficial solutions and communicating them in terms that clients can readily understand.
